The Beagle Pub, Cook Street Village

The Beagle Pub is one of the few places in Victoria that provides dog beds on the patio. That alone tells you they genuinely want dogs there. • Galloping Goose + Spinnakers: Park near the Johnson Street Bridge and walk the Goose toward Spinnakers. After lunch, continue the loop through Vic West or turn back. Total walk: 30 to 45 minutes depending on route.
• Oswald Park + Fernwood Inn: Exercise at the fenced off-leash park in Hillside, then walk to the Fernwood Inn for a patio lunch. Total walk: about 15 minutes.
